UPDATION OF OPENING BALANCE IN TALLY. KVS HQ New Delhi issue a letter to all Deputy Commissioner regarding to order to all KVs under their jurisdiction regarding updation of opening balance in tally as per closing balance w.e.f 01.04.2023 in all units of KV. This is in continuation to this office letter of even no. dated 07-11-2023 vide which all ROs & ZIETs were instructed to forward the opening balances of Balance Sheet for the Financial year 2023-24 to all the concerned units and also to KVS HQ. In this connection, it has been reported by the tally officials that only few Kendriya Vidyalayas have updated the opening balances in the Tally software. Therefore all ROs are directed to ensure updating of opening balances for Financial Year 2023-24 on tally software latest by 21-11-2023.
