Organization of Farewell cum Blessing Ceremony for Class XII Students in all Kendriya Vidyalayas.

Commissioner of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangthan HQ New Delhi has been issued a letter to all Deputy Commissioner of Kendriya Vidyalya Regional Office to direct the all KV's Principal about organization of Farewell cum Blessing ceromony for Class XII Students in all Kendriya Vidyalyas.

This is to bring to your kind attention that the students who have been an integral part of the Vidyalaya/KVS for so inany years (12 years or lesser) deserve to be given a memorable send off with all kind of motivation and encouragement.

It is desired that each Kendriya Vidyalaya must organize a farewell cum blessing cetemony if not already organized) in the Vidyalaya before departure of the students for class XII Board examinations. The Kendriya Vidyalayas functioning upto class X only and not in a position to ndd XI in the session 2020-21 may also arrange farewell cum blessing ceremony for class X students, A memento made of acrylic or unbreakable glass or wood or any suitable material having KVS logo should be presented to the outgoing students as a token of love and blessings (design and text of memento with a representative photo is annexed with this letter).

A brief farewell program may consist of the following points; -

i The farewell should be arranged on a suitable date and time keeping in mind schedule of CBSE Board Examinations.

ii) It must be ensured that the students attend the ceremony in the school uniform only. 

iii) A motivational speaker available in the town may be arranged to deliver an inspirational talk to the students for giving their best in the examination and life ahead,

iv) Teachers of the Vidyalaya having good communication skills, and expertise should also motivate the students on the day of farewell.

v) The outgoing students should be asked to share their experiences with the teachers and other classmates.

vi) No other activity/ cultural programme is to be included in the blessing programme: 

vii) Refreshment be arranged for students and staff at the end of the farewell ceremony and expenditure incurred may be booked under the head of Pupil Sooieties out of VVN. For single section Vidyalaya, expenditure may be limited to Rs.10,000/- and Vidyalayas with more than one section should incur the expenditure proportionately.

All the Principals under your jurisdiction must be directed to ensure compliance of the above instructions.

Revised Chapter 21 - Vidyalaya Vikas Nidhi (VVN)

Revision of Chapter 21 of Vidyalaya Vikas Nidhi (VVN) Kendriya Vidyalay Sangathan issued a letter regarding revised chapter 21 of Vidyalya Vikas Nidhi vide letter No. 110240/06/2009/KVS(HQ)/Budget, dated 28.12.2016 KVS proposal for revision of Chapter 21 Vidyalaya Vikas Nidhi was put up before the Finance Committee in its meeting held on 18.5.2016. The recommendations of Finance Committee were placed for approval of BOG of KVS and the BOG of KVS approved the said recommendation of Finance Committee of KVS in its meeting held on 15.11.2016  Up to 31.3.1999, the Sangathan was charging money from students over and above tuition fee (to the extent applicable) under the following heads:- 1.
