Review of Expenditure on Working Lunch for participants of various In: house training programmes.

Kendriya Vidyalya Sangathan HQ New Delhi issued a office memorandum regarding Review of Expenditure on Working Lunch for participants of various programmes, vide File no. 11-Acad 0338T(4)/1/2018-Academic/544-576 dated 09-10-2018.





The Advisory Committee of KVS for ZIETs 2018 has reviewed the rate of expenditure on Working Lunch for participants of various training programmes, including In-service courses and short duration workshops. 

The competent authority has approved the revision of the expenditure on Working Lunch (inclusive of lunch and two times tea and snacks) from Rs. 150/- (Rupees one hundred fifty only) to Rs. 300/- (Rupees three hundred only) per participant per day for the In-service courses, Workshops, Seminars, Short duration courses and other courses irrespective of course title, organized by KVS. 

"The expenditure on working lunch will be booked out of "workshop/seminar" under the Revenue head."  (After Corrigendum )

Revised Chapter 21 - Vidyalaya Vikas Nidhi (VVN)

Revision of Chapter 21 of Vidyalaya Vikas Nidhi (VVN) Kendriya Vidyalay Sangathan issued a letter regarding revised chapter 21 of Vidyalya Vikas Nidhi vide letter No. 110240/06/2009/KVS(HQ)/Budget, dated 28.12.2016 KVS proposal for revision of Chapter 21 Vidyalaya Vikas Nidhi was put up before the Finance Committee in its meeting held on 18.5.2016. The recommendations of Finance Committee were placed for approval of BOG of KVS and the BOG of KVS approved the said recommendation of Finance Committee of KVS in its meeting held on 15.11.2016  Up to 31.3.1999, the Sangathan was charging money from students over and above tuition fee (to the extent applicable) under the following heads:- 1. Pupil Fund, and 2. Science Fund Instructions relating to these were contained in Chapters 21 and 5 of the Accounts Code for Kendriya Vidyalayas.
