Medical Treatment of the Regional Office Staff/employees of KVS in the private recognized hospital under CS(MA) Rules.

Kendriya Vidayalya Sangathan issued letter time to time regarding the clarification of Medical treatment of KVS employee in the private recognized hospital under CS(MA) Rules. 


All Government employees are eligible for the treatment under Central Government Health scheme.


In this view Kendriya vidyalya sagathan issue a letter regarding the procedure to be followed for taking specialized treatment in private recognized hospitals under CS(MA) Rules and the Competent Authority who can authorize treatment in private recognized hospital. It has been clarified in the said letter that the specialized treatment in the private recognized hospital recognized for specialized purposes is permissible only after the specialist in the Govt  Hospital/CMO of the Distt. advises procedure in writing. It was also clarified that the Deputy Commissioner of the Regional Office is competent to accord permission to the officers and the staff of the RO and Vidyalayas except Group'A' Officers in the Regional Office.
